Blooming Stages of Marijuana Week to Week (Part II)

We already talked about the Blooming stages of marijuana in a previous post, we started talking about the pre blooming stage, which is a phase where the plant stops growing and requires a final lug.

This is because it is a stress phase in which the plant may be lacking in nutrients. To become stronger, recommended LACALVA STREET TREATMENT, a fertilizer with a balanced NPK recipe. In addition, it was commented that it was advisable to use high fertilizers in carbohydrates and nutrients such as SWEET LOLITA SOIL. The aim was to improve soil fertility and increase the qualities of the clay-humic complex.

If everything was right, the first white pistils would appear at this stage. Some fine bristles that appear on the stem of the female plants and indicate the onset of flowering.

It is in this phase, we recommended apply in a foliar way FLOWER KARMA INDUCTION, which is rich in proline and intervenes in the blooming process naturally.

Although it depends a lot on the plant, the preblooming stage usually lasts two weeks. From that point, the blooming begins itself and we will get the desired buds finally.

Blooming stages of marijuana: Blooming

The blooming stage of marijuana corresponding to blooming usually occurs in the fourth week since the seed is sown. It lasts approximately 7-8 weeks, although it always depends on the plant and the conditions.

Flowering Stage Week 1-3

The first thing you will notice is that the plant continues to grow slightly, but everything in a slower way. There comes a point where it stops and you will notice changes in the white pistils.

Those white pistils will produce the first signs of buds. It will be difficult to perceive them because they do not produce resin and trichomes, so the smell will hardly be noticeable.

To reach this point, in the phase of growth and preblooming, we were applying the fertilizers CARIBBEAN ALGAE SOIL&AIR and GROWTH ACCELERATOR. Both served as support for the growth of your plant and obtaining a more fertile soil.

We mentioned it because blooming is a critical point and where the plant will not grow so much, you must begin to decrease the dose of these two fertilizers due to its potency.

Although the GROWTH ACCELERATOR could be used until the fourth week of blooming, the CARIBBEAN ALGAE SOIL & AIR should not be applied beyond 2-3 weeks since the beginning of flowering.

Instead, we increase SWEET LOLITA SOIL and also add a new product: JAMAICAN BLOOM 28-25. It is a recipe which is optimized to increase blooming. It means that it favors the concentration of resin and thus the formation of heavier buds.

This product will be applied until the end of the blooming stage.

Blooming Stage Week 4-7

There comes a time when your plants need special attention. Buds begin to flourish considerably and plants produce trichomes.

You will notice how the pistils begin to darken, taking a brown color. The smell will be a feature that will point out that you are on the right way.

When bud production takes place, the stress can reappear again. You will notice it because the leaves begin to fall or have a yellowish tone.

To counteract stress, we apply anti-stress foliar fertilization with the LACALVA STRESS TREATMENT again for a couple of weeks. It will make the plant remains strong and apply other more powerful fertilizers to obtain heavy and powerful buds.

For example, the BAZOOKA BLOOM K30 could be translated as the definitive fertilizer to achieve the heaviest and most aromatic fruits. It is applied in this last stage of blooming and during the washing phase. Once we have applied this product, we will get the final push to achieve the most spectacular harvest.

Due to its potency, it is advisable to follow a controlled dose according to the moment in which the plant is located.

We are in a point where the plant is exposed to many fertilizers at the same time. There can be an over-fertilization that damage the plant. If you notice the leaves begin to fade or burn, reduce the dose of fertilizers immediately.

When the blooming stage is in the seventh or eighth week, the harvest will be fully ready. It will always depend on the plant.
