Indoor cultivation

Indoors it stays at 90-110 cm, a comfortable height for grow tents and rooms with little vertical space. It forms a clear main stem and several strong side branches; early topping or a few LST sessions turn it into a wide, flat plant with several tips at the same height, and a SCROG net helps carry the final weight. With 50 days of flowering it yields up to 550 g/m². We recommend a spongy, well-draining substrate, watering at a pH of 6.0-6.5 in soil, light defoliation halfway through flowering to open up the centre of the plant and an activated carbon filter from the first weeks of bloom, as the Kush heritage shows in the smell right away.

Outdoor cultivation

In the open air it changes scale: it reaches 200-250 cm and can produce up to 600 g per plant when grown in deep ground or a large container with rich, airy soil. The harvest comes in late September or early October, which in many areas lets it finish before the heavy autumn rains. Look for a spot with direct sun for most of the day and shelter from the wind, stake the side branches once they start to fill out and keep the base of the plant clear so air can circulate.

Aroma and flavour

The first impression is spicy and earthy, with the damp soil, wood and spice background that identifies the Kush family. Brush a stem or open a flower and the livelier side appears: a bright lemon joined by ripe fruit notes that add sweetness. With drying and curing the whole settles down and the citrus remains as a clean finish over the spicy base.
