Critical+ Auto: the productivity of the Critical family in autoflowering form

Critical+ (Auto French Lines) by Black Elephant Genetics is born from the cross of Critical and Roadrunner. Critical, a descendant of Afghani and Skunk, is one of the most widely grown strains in Europe and owes its name to the large amount of flower it produces in a short time; Roadrunner brings automatic flowering and a compact build. The result is a fast, generous, indica-dominant (70%) autoflower with a dense, sour and sweet flavour.

Indoor cultivation

Develops an indica-structured plant of 80-150 cm with compact flowers, yielding 350-450 g/m² and completing its cycle in 10 weeks from germination. Sow it directly in its final pot to avoid transplant stress, feed it lightly during the first weeks and keep the same light schedule throughout. We recommend a high-quality airy substrate such as coco coir and regular pH control (6.0-6.5 in soil). Instead of topping, gentle LST helps open up the plant; in the final stretch, a few stakes help support the weight of its flowers.

Outdoor cultivation

Outdoors it can yield between 70 and 200 g per plant. Plant it in large pots or directly in the ground with an airy substrate, in a spot that gets direct sun for much of the day. As it does not depend on the photoperiod, it flowers on its own whatever the day length, allowing staggered sowings throughout the warm season and a harvest before the rains arrive.

Yes. It is a forgiving strain with a short cycle: it flowers on its own, needs no photoperiod change and responds very well to basic care with watering, feeding and pH.

How much space does it need indoors?
With a final height of 80-150 cm, it fits well in 80x80 or 100x100 cm grow tents. If it stretches towards the top of that range, gentle LST during the first weeks helps control height and spread the light.

How should I store them until sowing?
In a cool, dry and dark place, ideally in the fridge inside an airtight container. This preserves their germination power for a long time.
