Big Pluto (German Fem Line) by Black Elephant Genetics belongs to the Kush family, the indica lineage rooted in the mountain landraces of Central Asia that now underpins many of the most sought-after strains. It shares with classics such as OG Kush or Critical Kush their earthy, spicy profile, sturdy structure and compact flowers. With 85% indica dominance, it is a plant with short internodes, firm branches and dense, resinous flowers, carrying a deep kush aroma with a citrus and sweet touch.

Indoor cultivation

It forms a plant with a compact structure, strong lateral branching and a moderate stretch when switched to flowering. It responds well to topping and LST, which open the plant and spread the light among the tips; in small spaces it also works in SOG with many small plants. It yields 450-550 g/m² after 8-9 weeks of flowering. As its flowers are very dense, we recommend low humidity and constant airflow in the final weeks, a high-quality airy substrate, regular pH control (6.0-6.5 in soil) and an activated carbon filter, because its kush aroma becomes noticeable from mid-flowering.

Outdoor cultivation

Outdoors it reaches 1.5-3 m in height and can yield up to 800 g per plant, with harvest in late October. It prefers warm, dry climates with plenty of direct sun and performs very well both in the ground and in large pots. Since it ripens late and forms compact flowers, choose an open, well-ventilated spot, remove leaves that shade the inside of the plant and check the core of the flowers if autumn turns damp.

Aroma and flavour

A classic, enveloping kush profile: damp earth and wood at the base, with OG notes of pine and spice that come through when the flowers are touched. Over that base an incense nuance stands out, warm and resinous, balanced by a citrus touch and a sweet finish that grows stronger in the final weeks of flowering.

Yes: like any good Kush it tolerates handling well, grows in an orderly way and forgives small mistakes. The only thing it demands is humidity control towards the end, as its flowers are very compact.

Will it fit in a grow tent?
Its compact structure and moderate stretch let it fit in standard 80x80 or 100x100 cm grow tents; early topping or LST help keep a low, even canopy.

How should I store them until sowing?
In a cool, dry and dark place, ideally in the fridge inside an airtight container. This preserves their germination power for a long time.
