Cream Reaper: the cheesy British Skunk on an Afghani base

Cream Reaper (German Fem Line) by Black Elephant Genetics combines an Old School UK Skunk, the British line that made the cheese smell famous, with a pure Afghani that adds structure, tight flowers and a resinous, spicy background. It is an indica-dominant feminized strain (60% indica / 40% sativa) that grows like a wide bush, with plenty of side branches loaded with flowers. In the jar it stands out for a creamy, very British profile: cheddar cheese and skunk up front, with incense, nuts and a fruity hint.

Indoor cultivation

Indoors, what defines it is its width: it develops many side branches that are almost as productive as the main stem. That is why it performs best with a few well-opened plants and a net that supports and spreads the branches, rather than a dense crop. After 7-8 weeks of flowering it yields approx. 500 g/m², with compact flowers that gain weight quickly in the second half. Ensure good air exchange between the branches, remove leaves that shade the lower sites and keep humidity in check at the end. A spongy substrate, a pH of 6.0-6.5 in soil and a powerful activated carbon filter complete the grow: its cheese and skunk smell is very persistent.

Outdoor cultivation

Outdoors it shows all its vigour: it forms a large, leafy bush capable of up to 850 g per plant. It is harvested in mid-October, so it appreciates a temperate climate and a dry autumn. Set up stakes or a support frame before the side branches fill out, leave plenty of room between plants for air to circulate and check the largest flowers after every spell of rain.

Aroma and flavour

A classic British profile reinterpreted: cheddar cheese and sour skunk fill the space from the first weeks of flowering. Underneath comes the Afghani signature, a warm, resinous incense, joined by toasted nuts and a fruity touch that softens the finish.

How should I store them until sowing?
