Kali Mist (German Fem Line) by Black Elephant Genetics brings together the heritage of Colombian and Thai sativas with a contribution of Afghan indicas that gives it a little more structure and firmer flowers. Indoor cultivation

Indoors is where its long cycle is easiest to manage. It grows strongly to 1-2 m, so it is best to switch it to flowering early, top it and open up its structure with LST or a SCROG net so the canopy stays level. After 75-90 days of flowering it yields 350-600 g/m². Like other sativas, it is sensitive to overfeeding: moderate doses and a stable pH (6.0-6.5 in soil) work best. During the final weeks keep humidity in check, refresh the air well and use an activated carbon filter for its intense incense aroma.

Outdoor cultivation

Its outdoor harvest arrives in mid to late November, so climate is decisive. In warm, sunny areas with mild, dry autumns (the Mediterranean coast, southern Spain) it can be grown in the ground and reach 2-3 m with 400-500 g per plant. In cooler or rainier climates we recommend a greenhouse: it shields the flowers from autumn rain and cold and extends the season long enough for them to ripen. Plant early in spring, stake its long branches and ventilate daily if you grow under plastic.

Aroma and flavour

An aroma that builds over time: in the first weeks of flowering it is barely herbal, but by the end it unfolds layers of incense and earth with spices and a peppery edge. Underneath comes the haze character typical of long-cycle sativas, finished by a citrus touch that adds freshness to the whole.
