Platinum Cookie (German Fem Line) by Black Elephant Genetics combines a cross of two major references in modern genetics, OG Kush and Girl Scout Cookies, with a South African landrace that brings vigour and a more open structure. Its name refers to the shiny, almost silvery layer of resin that covers its flowers. The result is a feminized, indica-dominant strain (60%) of medium height, with dense flowers and large calyxes and a creamy, sweet cookie aroma with gas, OG notes and red berries.

Indoor cultivation

Develops a medium-height plant of around 1.2 m, with a compact structure and firm side branches that respond very well to topping and LST, forming an even canopy where every tip gets light. It yields 350-400 g/m² after 8-9 weeks of flowering. For maximum results we recommend a high-quality airy substrate, regular pH control (6.0-6.5 in soil), good ventilation and low humidity in the final weeks, when the flowers gain density, plus an activated carbon filter to keep its aroma in check.

Outdoor cultivation

Outdoors is where it shows its full potential: planted directly in the ground it can yield 1200-2000 g per plant. It performs best in warm, dry, sunny Mediterranean-type climates and is harvested in October, so it appreciates a mild autumn. Give it room to develop its branches, choose a well-ventilated spot with direct sun for much of the day and check the inside of the flowers during ripening.

Aroma and flavour

An indulgent, enveloping profile: the sweet, creamy cookie-dough note dominates from the start, joined by ripe red berries. Underneath comes the OG character, with a gas base and earthy, spicy hints that grow in intensity in the final weeks of flowering.

Is it difficult to grow?
Not particularly: it is a rewarding strain with a low-to-medium difficulty level. It only asks for humidity control towards the end of flowering and good ventilation so that its dense flowers ripen in perfect condition.

How much indoor space does it need?
With a height of around 1.2 m, a 100x100 cm grow tent with good headroom is advisable; topping and LST help keep it compact and spread the light across its branches.

How should I store them until sowing?
In a cool, dry and dark place, ideally in the fridge inside an airtight container. This preserves their germination power for a long time.
