Cherry Pie (German Fem Line) by Black Elephant Genetics brings four lines together in a double cross: on one side Cherry AK x Purple Punch, contributing tart cherry and dark-fruit sweetness; on the other Auto Kush x Skunk Special, adding the skunk base, compact structure and density of the Kush family. The result is an indica-dominant feminized strain (70%) with a contained size, short internodes and plenty of branches, and an aroma reminiscent of a freshly baked cherry pie.

Indoor cultivation

It is a compact, well-branched plant of 80-100 cm, with short internodes and a gentle stretch when switched to flowering, so it hardly needs pruning. It fits very well in SOG, with several small plants and one main cola each, and also accepts light LST to open the centre and spread the light. It yields 450-500 g/m² after 8-10 weeks of flowering. We recommend a high-quality airy substrate, regular pH control (6.0-6.5 in soil), moderate feeding, low humidity in the final stretch and an activated carbon filter, as its blend of cherry and skunk is very expressive.

Outdoor cultivation

Outdoors it reaches 1.5-2 m in height and can yield up to 550 g per plant, with harvest in early October. It performs well in mild, sunny climates, both in the ground and in large pots, and its moderate size makes it easy to fit into gardens and terraces. Place the plant in full sun, let air circulate between its branches and check the densest flowers during the final weeks of ripening.

Aroma and flavour

A sweet profile full of contrast: cherry dominates from the first weeks, somewhere between sweet and tart, and as flowering progresses notes of baked pastry and candied fruit appear, evoking a pie. Underneath, the Skunk heritage brings an earthy, penetrating base that balances the sweetness and gives depth to the whole.

Very little: its compact structure and short internodes keep it growing in an orderly way without intervention. If you want to make better use of the light, light LST to open the centre of the plant is enough.

It stays at 80-100 cm, so it fits comfortably in 80x80 or 100x100 cm grow tents and is a good choice for SOG setups with several plants.

How should I store them until sowing?
In a cool, dry and dark place, ideally in the fridge inside an airtight container. This preserves their germination power for a long time.
