Gary Payton (German Fem Line) by Black Elephant Genetics is a three-way cross of American origin that concentrates the Girl Scout Cookies family: it combines Girl Scout Cookies and Snowman, a selection from that same family famous for its dense, frosty flowers, with Cherry Pie, which adds a sweet, fruity touch to the mix. The result is a balanced feminized hybrid with a slight sativa dominance (55%), open branching and very resinous flowers, and an aroma that alternates sugar, spice and diesel.

Indoor cultivation

Indoors it develops a structure of several side branches and slightly longer internodes from its sativa side. It performs best when opened up during growth with LST, gently bending the branches so that every tip receives the same light, and then guided through a SCROG net. It yields up to 500 g/m² after 70-75 days of flowering. For maximum results we recommend a high-quality airy substrate, regular pH control (6.0-6.5 in soil), a stable environment throughout flowering, good ventilation between the branches and an activated carbon filter, because its diesel note makes itself felt.

Outdoor cultivation

Outdoors it becomes a tall plant: it reaches 1.5-3 m and can yield up to 700 g per plant, with harvest in early October, before the worst of autumn arrives. It appreciates a warm, sunny climate, an open spot with direct sun and moving air, and a large pot or well-worked soil to develop its roots. It is worth tying the main branches to stakes once they start to fill with flowers.

Aroma and flavour

A layered profile: when the flowers are opened a sugary sweetness dominates, soon crossed by spicy, almost peppery notes. Underneath comes an earthy base, and in the final weeks of flowering a diesel note emerges that gives character to the whole blend.
