AK-47 (Auto French Lines) by Black Elephant Genetics brings one of Europe's best-known hybrids into autoflowering form, born from a blend of traditional Colombian, Mexican, Thai and Afghan lines. With an even split between indica and sativa (50% / 50%), it combines vigour and order in a medium-height plant, reaches 27% TH and gives off an aroma that alternates tropical sweetness with a spark of citrus.

Indoor cultivation

Its sativa half gives it vigour and slightly longer branches, while its indica half keeps the structure tidy and the size in check: under cover it stays at 80-100 cm. Germinate it directly in the container where it will finish, water sparingly at first and keep the same lighting schedule from the first week to the last. It performs well in coco or in airy soil with perlite, as long as the pH stays between 6.0 and 6.5 in soil. To make the most of the whole surface, bend and tie the branches with low-stress training (LST); topping would take away time an autoflower never gets back.

Outdoor cultivation

Out in the open it grows to 80-150 cm, giving 70-90 g from each plant. Place it where the sun hits it fully for most of the day, in the ground or in a roomy container with good drainage. Its independence from day length lets you sow it at the start or in the middle of the season, and even grow it alongside long-cycle varieties for an early harvest.

Aroma and flavour

Tropical fruit sets the tone from the first weeks of flowering, with a ripe, juicy sweetness, while a citrus background reminiscent of lemon zest adds freshness. As the flowers mature, the whole becomes fuller and more penetrating, a trait you notice most when handling the plant.
