The first post of the year is quite curious as well as very useful in some cases.<\/p>\n<p>The main topic of this post will be the apical pruning of the cannabis plant. This technique consists of cutting the upper part of the plant, in order to control the growth of the plant, causing lateral shoots and more <strong>branches laterally<\/strong>. For each cut that we make to each arm, 2 arms will grow in the shape of a Y. Even if we do not accept the central cup, we will not lose any weight, because smaller buds will grow but much more.<\/p>\n<p>If we want to do the apical pruning for the marijuana plant to be effective we must make a clean cut, although we must wait at least for it to develop three knots. Once it reaches this growth of the plant we can apply the apical pruning that we want.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The clean cut<\/strong> is made flush with the surface of the third node, leaving three pairs of branches laterally. Just above the last 2 arms, we will grow 2 more open, giving the plant a Y shape.<\/p>\n<p>We must be careful when we cut the eye, since it can enter into a stress process and your plant can suffer. Each one acts differently due to its structure, or the shape of its buds. Many growers prefer not to put in a lot of marijuana plants, and these few plants do up to 10 apical pruning before the flowering phase. In this way we will obtain maximum productions with the least number of plants, completing the entire growing space.<\/p>\n<p>This makes a large number of growers want to further maximize production using <strong>the Scrog mesh<\/strong>, in which we are interested in the cannabis plant providing us with a large number of arms. Thanks to this technique many more arms are filled in the mesh. That ensures that each of the arms focuses on the light. With this Scrog mesh, good buds are produced at the tip of each of its arms, maximizing the yields in an exaggerated way.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, outdoors we can meditate on this technique as long as it does not attract much attention from neighbors or potential thieves. When pruning it will cause the creation of arms, so it will encourage short plants with many arms.<\/p>\n<p>By pruning we effectively cut the growth of the plant, so we will need to do all the pruning we can to get as many arms. When we cut an eye, <strong>new arms will sprout<\/strong>, so we must continue cutting until its flowering stage begins.
